In addition to the dinner, there will also be an exclusive release of Mega Mamba, the imperial version of our award winning Mamba.

1st course
Creamy risotto with parmigiano reggiano, chanterelle mushrooms, fried shallot and scallions
Beer pairing-Filbert Lager

Intermezzo
Mega Mamba taster followed by Mamba sorbet

2nd course
Cocoa braised beef short ribs, chocolate buerre blanc, potato/parsnip gnocchi, with root vegetables.

Vegetarian option
Same entree as 2nd course but omit short rib, add cherry beurre blanc

3rd course
New York style cheesecake with gingersnap and caramel.

Seasonal Store and Winter Ale House / Downtown Salem

Yes, this post is a little late. We’ve been operating the storefront since just before Thanksgiving Day and needless to say, we’ve been a little busy.
I’d like to say a big, fat, thank you! We have the best fans in the world and you all have made us feel so welcome in downtown Salem.

The Gilgamesh Seasonal Store and Winter Ale House is located in downtown Salem on the Court st. side of the Reed Opera House.

We have 8 beers on tap, and tons of merch for sale. We also fill growlers and liter bottles here.

There is always live music on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday night.

Tue-Thur: 12-10pm

Fri-Sat: 12-Midnight

Sun: 12-5pm

2011 HOLIDAY PACKS

RESERVE YOUR 2011 HOLIDAY PACK TODAY! This year there will be FOUR 1-liter flip-top bottles and an insulated reusable grocery bag (complete with a Gilgamesh logo). The current plan is for the selection to include Cranberry Saison, Chocolate Mint Stout, HopScotch, and Mamba, although this is subject to change as we have brewed a winter ale with molasses and we may substitute it.

$40 ($50 value). We are shooting for having them available Dec 1. Email lani@gilgameshbrewing.com with reservations.

Jasmine Hefeweizen is gone.

Some of you are sure to be saddened by the news that the Jasmine Hefeweizen is gone. We know, it’s hard being in a relationship with a seasonal beer.

But don’t fret! We have not one, not two, but THREE new beers to help ease the pain this fall. Stay tuned for announcements and introductions!
